# bitdrift Capture

Welcome to bitdrift Capture, the dynamic observability platform for mobile applications.

## Workflows

Workflows are a precision tool to identify and plot patterns in app behavior and usage, and can be used for granular investigations into issues affecting a few users, to monitoring the health of new version rollouts to millions, to understanding user flows for new features, and everything in between.

Deploying a new workflow can be done in seconds, providing instant insight into a particular release, user experience, or feature.

## Mobile SDK

The bitdrift Capture mobile SDK connects workflows to devices, and is built for high volume and low overhead local telemetric storage and persistence. It can be updated in real-time to select the precise data needed to discover more about customer issues and release health.

## Timeline

A timeline is detailed view of an individual session, powered by workflow data, containing a rich set of tools for engineers to dive deep into identifying issues.

## Dashboards

Dashboards are a focused and customizable view of charts powered by workflows, and can be assembled from the data which matters most to a team, incident, feature, or particular release, for shared monitoring and collection.

## Agent Skills

bitdrift skills provide AI coding agents like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Copilot deep knowledge of the bitdrift platform, enabling agents to answer questions and fetch real-time data, create workflows, query sessions, and triage issues.

## Instant Insights

Instant Insights are a real-time view of an app's health, user experience, resource usage, and network performance, with a variety of charts, real-time updates, and filtering tools to identify and resolve issues.

## Alerts

Use alerts to monitor specific events and potential issues using customizable rules. Alerts cn be integrated with provider apps like Slack, and group notifications by channel for streamlined communication.

## Issues

Issues are a focused view into the events which cause apps to terminate, like crashes and excessive resource usage. These events are automatically detected, grouped by the code causing the problem and details within the error, and linked to the [timeline](#timeline) session where the issue occurred.

## Entities

Entities are a view into the individual users of applications, and use ID-based lookup to see the associated sessions, devices, and issues.

## Administration

A central location for managing user access, application SDK keys, integrations, notification routing, and Android In-App Detection.
